Over the centuries and around the world, women have patiently and practically worked out flattering designs that are a joy to wear. Today we call it the ethnic look and isn't it beautiful! Beautiful, too, are the few and simple shapes - mostly straight lines - that make these ethnic beauties - 1970s statement for sizing is "one size fits all" for every single pattern. All the easy diagrams and complete directions are included.

What YARN do I use?
Modern equivalent yarns need to be researched. But why? Most vintage yarns were manufactured by the companies who created the patterns and both no longer exist - vintage yarns do not exist anymore.
As you know, yarn choice is a crucial decision - recommendations are not given.
Now, all that being said - I do give an Exclusive Supplemental Gift with tons of info but that does not mean that it has the specific info you are looking for; what is great is, sometimes 😃Reviewers will actually state the yarn they used! 😃 Whoo-hoo!

VintageBeso specializes in LARGE print. What does that mean?
Vintage patterns were usually printed in small fonts. But why?
Because manufacturers wanted to give their customers the entire pattern in one shot or wanted to give multiple patterns in one shot. So what does that have to do with the font size?
Well, let's say you have one sheet of paper that was printed for the masses only one time...what could the manufacturer do? Shrink! Shrink the font, sometimes to a seriously miniscule size!
That is where I come in! Oh yeah! What do I do?
I ENLARGE the pattern. An entire pattern may originally only be a few inches or half page - may now be five pages long! You will be able to easily read the printed material...per page.
